There was a list of the top 10 fastest growing cities in the United States of America, and it's incredible to see the type of growth happening in those areas. On a side note, five of the 10 cities were in Texas. I thought that was interesting. Any way, where do all these people that flock into these areas live at? They have to find a place to live otherwise they wouldn't be moving there. So companies are buying acres and building brand new homes. Every home out there was once brand new, but over time, things begin to break or not work the same, which cause you to have to spend money to repair things. When you have to repair your house, it can get pricey. So what are some ways we can save money when we repair our house?  That's a link to great article from ABC News on how to, but I'll give you some of my personal tips that I've used for over 40 years!
For starters, lets begin with paint. If you're going to repair your house and stay in it, then I suggest you not mess around with paint. Get the best stuff out there because it will last and last and last! I honestly wouldn't cheap out on paint because you can be cheaper on some other things.
One place you can be cheaper with is the flooring. Let's say you want some nice, shiny hardwood floors, but you know how much those truly are. There is still hope for you to get that nice look of hardwood! There is a thing called laminate, which is manmade and manufactured to be much cheaper than real wood, but it still gives it a nice, clean finishing look. With any laminate flooring or tile for the kitchen or bathroom, you can search warehouses all over the place because they always have deals running. Go searching for a deal somewhere like that!

If you search for different warehouses that just sell flooring, then you will definitely find a great deal because someone in your local area will have a liquidation sale that they are selling every house cheap basically everything for cheap!
